Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Valley West Hospital support a variety of tobacco cessation programs and tools to aid tobacco users on their journey to be smoke- and tobacco-free.
Our unique programs provide tobacco users with choices that best meet their individual cessation needs. From intensive support groups to independent learning, Northwestern Medicine has the resources to help.
Our support programs include strategies on how to develop an individual cessation plan and information about various cessation methods including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, alternative strategies, quitting cold turkey and promotion of healthy lifestyle practices.
