Dr. Deeba Masood recently joined Northwestern Medicine to expand the allergy immunology service line in the north region.

I will be practicing at our Grayslake (1475 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, Illinois 60030) and Vernon Hills (870 North Milwaukee Avenue, Vernon Hills, Illinois 60061) locations

Northshore University Health System

What is your area of expertise?
Allergy Immunology and Integrative Medicine

Why did you join NM?
I wanted to join the team at the number one ranked hospital system in Illinois. It’s an honor.

What are you hoping to accomplish in your new role for your patients?
As a board certified clinician in Allergy Immunology, and with my fellowship in Integrative Medicine, I look forward to integrating conventional and complementary medicine to help patients who seek Allergy Immunology treatments, and who embrace a life of health and wellness.

What are your professional goals?
As an asthma patient myself, I can empathize with my patients and understand their concern for getting quality care and who have only the highest expectations from their physician. My goal is to use a multidisciplinary approach with evidence-based medicine to optimize my patients’ health care and wellness.

Fun Fact:
She has climbed Mr. Kilimanjaro in 2015 and finished the Hancock Hustle, climbing 95 floors for the American Respiratory Association.

Dr. Masood resides in Lake Forest, Illinois. She has two children who are also studying medicine.
