Couple Married at Northwestern Memorial Hospital Heading Home

"I've got probably three weeks at home recuperating before I get back to work," Lewis Stepp said. "Then we will try to have a little mini-honeymoon. Thank you to everyone at Northwestern for all that you have done.”
While vacationing in Mexico in March, Stepp experienced a blocked artery that caused him to lose feeling to his lower extremities. The April 4 surgery, performed by Andrew Hoel, MD, a vascular surgeon with Northwestern’s Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute, bypassed the damaged artery to restore blood flow to Stepp’s legs.
