Northwestern Medical Group Joins Summer Festivities

Northwestern Medicine
News July 10, 2014
Summer is festival season in the Chicago area, and Northwestern Medical Group (NMG) is joining in the celebrations.

In an effort to provide health education to the community and spread the word about new outpatient services and locations, NMG will operate informational booths at fairs in the city and suburbs through September. In some cases, NMG will serve as the festival’s main health and wellness sponsor.

At each event, NMG staff members will greet festivalgoers at a Northwestern Medicine® booth, offering information about the health system and its services. As Northwestern Medicine continues to open new locations in the north suburbs, these fairs provide members of the community with an easy way to learn more about the Northwestern care that is now offered near where they live and work.

Some of the events also will feature interactive health-related activities, such as free massages and blood pressure screenings from staff members at the Lake Forest Health and Fitness Club.
