Northwestern Medicine Opens New Immediate Care Center and Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group Office in Deerfield
“We are excited to expand access to Northwestern Medicine’s care to our patients in the northern suburbs through the new Deerfield Immediate Care Center and physician offices,” said Daniel Derman, MD, vice president, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and president, Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group (NMPG). “The Deerfield center offers a comprehensive set of services with primary and specialty care by NMPG physicians and the treatment of minor emergencies at the Immediate Care Center.”
“Our physician group is pleased to move to our new and larger office in Deerfield,” said Richard Miller, MD, north region medical director for Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group and a member of the medical staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. “Our patients can expect our continued commitment to top quality healthcare in a larger and more convenient setting for them.”
The Deerfield Immediate Care Center is staffed by licensed physicians and emergency medical technicians who are trained to evaluate and treat a variety of medical conditions in both adults and pediatric patients (over the age of 6 weeks). Radiology services are also available 7 days a week. All patients are seen by a physician, providing patients the opportunity to be treated by a physician during the hours that their regular primary care physician’s office is closed.
