Northwestern Memorial Hospital Honored with Human First "Community Spirit Award"

Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University recently were honored with the “Community Spirit Award” at Human First 2014,* the annual gala for the Center on Halsted.* Brian Mustanski, PhD, director of Impact, The LGBT Health and Development Program at Northwestern University, accepted the award, joined by Richard J. Gannotta, president, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and Lindsay Chase-Lansdale, PhD, Professor of Human Development and Social Policy and Associate Provost for Faculty at Northwestern University.

The Center on Halsted, located on Chicago’s North Side, is the most comprehensive community center in the Midwest dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people in the greater Chicago area.
