Gift of Hope: Organ and Tissue Donor Network logoIn recognition of National Donate Life Month, Northwestern Medicine will sponsor activities health systemwide, including opportunities for employees and the public to register as an organ donor.
Celebrated in April each year, National Donate Life Month features a month of local, regional and national activities to help encourage Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors and to celebrate those who have saved lives through the gift of donation.
In coordination with Gift of Hope, Northwestern Medicine will offer an easy way to register as an organ donor at four of its hospitals throughout April. Gift of Hope is a not-for-profit organ procurement organization that coordinates organ and tissue donation and provides public education on donation in Illinois and northwest Indiana. Tables will be set up with a hospital and Gift of Hope representative on the following dates:

April 14, 11:30 am to 1 pm

April 17, 11 am to 2 pm
Prentice Women’s Hospital

Illinois residents may also register as organ, eye and tissue donors through the State's online First-Person Consent Organ/Tissue Donor Registry or by calling 800.210.2106 or by visiting a Secretary of State facility.
