LAKE FOREST, IL – Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital announced today its plan to acquire Gurnee Radiology Centers (GRC), creating the most expansive medical imaging network in Lake County.
GRC’s three facilities in Gurnee, Libertyville and Bannockburn will join the Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital network that currently has four imaging operations in Lake Forest, Gurnee, Grayslake and Vernon Hills. With the acquisition, Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital Diagnostic Imaging will employ more than 200 staff at seven locations in Lake County and provide approximately 200,000 diagnostic imaging procedures for patients annually.
“This is exciting news for our patients and their physicians as we can now offer more convenient locations equipped with state-of-the-art technology,” said Thomas J.
