Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital Women's Board Holiday Boutique
Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital October 15, 2008
LAKE FOREST, IL — It’s coming — the time of year when bells on bob-tail ring, when spirits are made bright. But you needn’t find ringing bells on bob-tail to lift your spirits this holiday season. The Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital Women’s Board Annual Holiday Boutique will provide the perfect opportunity to pick up a great gift for anyone on your holiday list.
This year’s boutique will be held at the Deer Path Inn, 255 E. Illinois, in Lake Forest on the following dates:
Thursday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, November 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Can’t wait until then? Attend the special preview party on Wednesday, November 12 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wine and hors devours will be served. Tickets are $60 at the door, or $50 when purchased in advance through the Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital Office of Philanthropy. Make your reservation by calling the Philanthropy Office at (847) 535-6111 or registering online.
Karla Patlovitch and Jami Considine are chairing this year’s boutique. Considine says the entire Women’s Board takes great pride in the event. “There’s such a positive energy at the boutique; you can really feel it,” she says.
In addition to what you feel, you will also see gifts from thirty unique vendors from around the country. The vendors will feature:
Purses and accessories
Clothing and books
This will also be the first year that the boutique will feature a section called The Gentlemen’s Quarters. This section will include grand gifts for your favorite man. Think: cigars, unique ties, cuff links and accessories.
But don’t think that these fabulous gifts will put the boutique past your price range. Considine says there will be appropriately-priced gifts for everyone. “I want all to feel welcome to come and shop,” she said.
All proceeds from the Holiday Boutique benefit Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital’s top-quality health services. The hospital was recently named a #1 Consumers Choice hospital for the fourth year in a row by National Research Corporation.
The Women’s Auxiliary Board was founded in 1942 and currently has more than 100 members. The board’s mission is to support the hospital through fundraising, volunteerism, education and advocacy.
