H1N1 Immunizations Now Available at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital Locations

LAKE FOREST, IL – Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital is now offering H1N1 vaccines to all those who want to be immunized. The Centers for Disease Control encourages those who have been waiting, including those over the age of sixty-five, to get vaccinated. Outbreaks of H1N1 illness are expected to continue into the spring.

The vaccine will be available on a first come, first served basis at three Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital locations during the following hours:

The vaccine costs $24 per person, and is payable by cash or by checks made out to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. The hospital is not able to process credit cards, debit cards or insurance assignments, but it will bill Medicare for patients who bring their current card. The hospital will provide a receipt with the necessary codes should you wish to submit a claim to your insurance.
