Salls serves as Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s senior brand leader, managing a broad portfolio of corporate services. Since joining the hospital in 2000, she has developed an integrated approach for the hospital’s internal and external communications, marketing, public relations, and physician relations programs. In addition, Salls oversees the hospital’s corporate identity standards, reputation management, consumer website, physician outreach, conference center, archives, special events and arts programs.
A member of SHSMD since 1996, Salls is a member of the SHSMD board of directors and the Finance Committee. A frequent speaker and track leader at SHSMD Annual Conferences, she chaired the Annual Conference Planning Committee in 2010 and served as its vice-chair in 2009. In addition, she has been a member of the Marketing Ethics Task Force (2010), the Futurescan Task Force (2010), and the Nominating Committee (2009), and she has served as board liaison to the Advocacy and Emerging Issues Committee (2008).
