Cadence Health Announces Intent To Acquire OAD Orthopaedics

WINFIELD, IL – Cadence Health, the health system created through the merger of Central DuPage Health and Delnor Community Health System, announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire OAD Orthopaedics, Ltd., a leading provider of comprehensive orthopaedic care and services offered throughout Chicago's western suburbs. The acquisition is subject to approval by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board.
The proposed acquisition of OAD by Cadence Health would add 23 orthopaedic specialists, and additional care providers and staff to the Cadence Physician Group, the health system's multispecialty physician practice. In addition, Cadence Health would acquire OAD's associated real estate and ambulatory surgery center, located in Warrenville, Ill.

Cadence Health is the third largest provider of joint replacement in the state of Illinois.
