LAKE FOREST, IL – Leading cardiologist J. “I am thrilled to join such an esteemed medical team at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital,” Dr. Benge said. “Here in Lake Forest, cardiologists have the reputation, expertise, technology and support personnel to provide unparalleled care for patients.”

A graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Dr. Benge practiced in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1980 to 2000 where he was the medical director of two heart programs. He and his family have lived in Lake Forest since 2001 and are active members of the community.

“Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital is my community hospital. As a local resident, I’m invested in this community and really enjoy practicing here. I look forward to continuing to serve my patients both at the hospital and at Northwestern Medicine Grayslake,” Dr. Benge said.
