First certified facility in Chicago’s western suburbs
GENEVA, IL – The Cadence Fitness & Health Center has been certified as a Medical Fitness Center by the Medical Fitness Association, a non-profit organization assisting medically integrated health and fitness centers to achieve their full potential. "The certification means the Cadence Fitness & Health Center meets guidelines set by the Medical Fitness Association to ensure that our programs and services deliver medically integrated outcomes to its members," said Brian Babka, M.D., Cadence Physician Group Sports Medicine. "We are proud to offer a variety of programs with an educated approach to help improve the fitness, health and well-being of the communities we serve."
Located in Geneva on the Delnor Campus, the Cadence Fitness & Health Center is a 60,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility that offers programs overseen by teams of professionally trained and certified health promotion specialists. The programs offered at the Center include:
- Cardiac Fitness for cardiac rehab patients
- Diabetes Exercise Care Program
- Survivor Care for cancer patients
- Aftercare for people who have completed physical therapy, but still want a supervised exercise program
- Right Weigh for people who are interested in getting their weight under control
"In addition to personal trainers, many of our members work with dietitians and life coaches and receive pre- and post-program health assessments that are used to set and measure fitness goals," said Babka.
