Certified infection staff
Healthcare associated infections are a problem in hospitals across the country. Infection prevention and control staff members work in the hospital to help reduce the number of infections acquired by patients during a hospital stay. They provide expertise in disease transmission and prevention. Certified infection control staff are infection prevention and control clinicians who earn certification by meeting job-related requirements and passing a certification examination.
