Making sure older adults have gotten a pneumonia vaccine

If you are over the age of 65, you have increased risks for developing pneumonia, especially if your immune system is weakened or you have had the flu. With its rapid onset and potential for causing other health complications, pneumonia is extremely serious. Getting the pneumococcal vaccine is an effective way to help reduce the risk of pneumonia.
