Pregnancy and Newborn Care

Caring for women is what we do at Northwestern Medicine.

Many pregnant women who are at risk for complications prefer care at NM hospitals, because we have experience caring for both women with high-risk pregnancies and their babies—whether they are healthy or need special care.

Our pregnancy and newborn care measures fall into two categories:

Pregnancy Care (Obstetrics)

Medical care for pregnant women and their unborn children that includes the time from conception through delivery.
