Ovarian Cancer Specialists and Care Centers

The Northwestern Ovarian Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Program (NOCEDPP) is a collaborative effort between Northwestern University and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. This collaborative effort integrates the clinical screening of women at high risk of ovarian cancer with the development of new serum and plasma tumor markers for the early detection of ovarian cancer.

The purpose of the NOCEDPP is to identify those women who are at increased risk for developing ovarian cancer and to develop new tests, unique to the ovaries, to help detect ovarian cancer at an early, treatable stage. The hallmark of the program is the coordinated, multidisciplinary services provided during each comprehensive clinic visit.

The NOCEDPP, along with sections of Gynecologic Oncology, Hematology/Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and the Cancer Genetics Program have joined forces with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Lurie's Cancer Center provides a full range of oncology services and access to specialized research, clinical trials and diagnostic services.
