To Our Northwestern Medicine Patients
We understand you may have some anxiety about visiting a healthcare facility during an ongoing pandemic. I hope the following information will ease this anxiety as you prepare for your next in-person visit.
To reduce points of physical contact, we have created a new “touchless” eCheck-In process to allow you to update your personal demographics, verify your medical and insurance information, make payments and complete health questionnaires prior to your visit. To allow for physical distancing, we have also reduced the number of individuals who are in our facilities and are offering extended office hours for care.
Beginning June 15, unless you specifically request a virtual visit through video or telephone, your appointment will be scheduled as an in-person visit. Please be sure to discuss your preference for your next visit with your physician.
