Behavioral health psychology focuses on the study and alteration of people's behaviors, including their actions, emotions and thoughts. Studies have shown how psychological and emotional states can greatly impact our physical and medical conditions. Chronic stress and anxiety have a physiological component, which can impede the body’s natural healing process.

Individual sessions

Behavioral health psychologists can work one–on–one with you to help you learn new tools to reduce stress, cope with anxiety and deal effectively with other emotions or unproductive thoughts. Individual therapy sessions can help transform negative patterns that occurs between one’s thoughts, emotions and physical reactions. Our psychologists work in conjunction with members of your healthcare team, including psychiatrists.
