Symptoms of Lung Nodules

Lung nodules rarely have symptoms. They are usually found by accident in 1 of every 500 chest X-rays.

If lung nodules are large or malignant, they may cause symptoms, including:

  • Chronic cough
  • Blood-tinged sputum
  • Shortness of breath
  • Wheezing
  • Fever, especially if you have pneumonia
