5.0 star star star star starDr. Gill has stayed on top of my removal and treatment of sqamous skin cancer. She is carefully monitoring my lymph nodes every 3-4 months plus there were several spots on top of my head that may have been pre-cancerous that have disappeared after using the prescribed cream.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderToday we were squeezed in to look at 2 warts on my daughters foot and a couple spots she had on her legs before she goes away to college. Or that’s what we thought we were there for….Dr. Gill was not given that information and thought we were there for an acne check. She was visibly irritated and gave her nurse multiple sideways/irritated “looks†while we were there in frustration of us wanting these things looked at. We have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Gill but this left a sour taste in our mouth. My newly 18 year daughter called to make the appointment. I was present when she called, as this is a new experience for her. She was VERY clear she wanted to be seen for a wart check and have a couple of spots check. When the nurse called back to make the appointment, the nurse never asked what the appointment was for, so we assumed (obviously un-correctly) the receptionist who answered my daughters call let the nurse know why she wanted to come in. My daughter and I were completely taken aback and shocked at the complete change in demeanor and clear frustration that Dr. Gill portrayed. It was SO uncharacteristic of the person we’ve always dealt with. Dr. Gill actually said to us “I squeezed you in for an acne check during someone else’s time†As though this miscommunication was our fault!!! Had this been our first appointment we never would come back-it was completely unprofessional and honestly completely unnecessary as the “extras†we wanted her to look at should have been the whole visit, taking about the same time as she gave us to discuss acne. Dr. Gill did stay and look at the spots and the warts. This look less than 5 minutes longer to check these spots-but she was clearly reluctant to check and frustrated with us. I know everyone has bad days and that there are people who abuse the system, however we’ve been going to Dr. Gill for 2+ years and have never asked to be “squeezed in†before today. The fact that her nurse didn’t communicate to her why we were there is not our fault. Both my daughter and I apologized about the miscommunication to Dr. Gill and her nurse Maggie, and neither seemed to care. I want to give Dr. Gill grace and show kindness since we’ve never had anything like this happen before but also wanted to make it known that todays behavior from her was hurtful and just plain unkind. Before today’s experience I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gill, in fact we’ve told many people how wonderful she is. Sadly, today we did not receive that level of care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Gill gave me a very thorough check up. She checked me from the tip of my toes to the top of my scalp. I’ve never had such a good skin cancer check up and I will be back to see her next year or sooner if needed. Dr. Gill was compassionate and was not in a rush. I really liked this doctor very much.

5.0 star star star star starShe is the best kind of dermatologist, she is interested in preventing skin cancer and not selling people products or concerned about cosmetic care unless asked. She is a medical doctor and not a spa worker.
