2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderI transferred to her about 3-4 yrs ago bc she’s a specialist in my condition. The first year she took her time, asked me questions, took notes, but the last 2 yrs I feel like there is no real time she’s taking to get to know me. Yes she answers me questions but she’s with me for 5 mins.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI really like Dr. O’Connell. I think she is very kind. However, I was disappointed that my last visit was about 5 minutes long. I got the impression that she was rushed and thus rushed her time with me.

5.0 star star star star starShe was fantastic describing all my different options and how they could each affect me differently physically and hormonally. She did a great job explaining why certain ones would be better for someone my age and with my medication history.

5.0 star star star star starShe’s fantastic- super knowledgeable, compassionate and kind. The sort of person you’d want by your side for the joyful or painful parts of the process of having a baby. She was with me for both and I greatly appreciate her.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderShe’s nice and all but kept referring to a booklet that women got like 8 months ago during the beginning stages of their pregnancy to treat sickness and insomnia. Might as well search on Google for treatment.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderShe is to the point which is sometimes great but also can be difficult because I don't always feel that I can walk away from an appointment truly understanding why the medical interventions are being placed for my health.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
