5.0 star star star star starIt was not his fault that nobody mentioned the reason for this appointment. He also seemed slightly disappointed that it was never explained to me that the visit would only be a consult. He seems like a great doctor and I trust that I’ll be in good hands with him when I come back.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ganshirt explained in detail step by step what I should be prepared for. He answered all my questions and didn't make me feel like my questions were a chore. He took his time and didn't make me feel rushed. This was my first time meeting him and I believe it was divine intervention because I agreed to the first appointment and I'm so glad he was available.

5.0 star star star star starDr Ganshirt is pleasant and personable. He is one of the BEST! He remembered my last visit and didn’t seem troubled by these new findings. Which meant a lot to me because I was concerned about them. He assured me he’ll keep a close eye on my next results.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ganshirt has excellent communication skills and explained everything clearly & confidently, which helped me feel at ease about my procedure. He played music during the procedure which helped me stay calm and again had great communication so that I would know what to expect.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
