5.0 star star star star starShe is knowledgeable yet approachable. I appreciate that she tells me what to expect behaviorally in the coming months. She makes sure my questions are answered. She was compassionate and patient but honest during this very tough year of medicine and parenting. I feel like she actually cares about how were doing.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ambler's positive attitude fills the room. Makes parents and children feel safe and welcome. My children love seeing her and Julie. Always great to see a physician keep the same medical assistant long term as it helps my children to see the same faces years after years.

5.0 star star star star starDr Ambler is wonderful and she interacted so well with Mia, she explained what she was doing and put Mia at ease. These types of positive interactions will continue to give Mia a positive correlation surrounding medical treatment. She kept me calm too.

5.0 star star star star starShe takes time to listen and respond, she remembers things we discuss from visit to visit (which I feel is really rare for a physician), and she just makes you feel that your child(ren) are well taken care of and looked after.

5.0 star star star star starLove Dr. Ambler, she takes her time with us even though I don't usually have any concerns. She asks great questions and makes me feel good as a Mom. A compliment goes a long way when you are in the thick of it as a Mother.

5.0 star star star star starLove Dr Ambler she is the reason we moved to the practice (also like her nurse). Both talked to the child more then the parent which I appreciate. Was very good at explaining things to us. Never felt like we were being rushed through the appointment.

5.0 star star star star starShe listens to my concerns and takes appropriate measures in caring for my child. She does not pressure me to get the flu shot or optional vaccines. She respects my choice. I left my last pediatrician bc they consistently hounded me regarding the flu shot and other vaccines. I do get all the vaccines recommended for attending school, and am not an anti-vaccine person. I appreciate the respect with which I'm treated.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
