Dr. Shastry took the time to hear out my concerns and explain next steps. She was very warm; I felt comfortable with her and confident in her ability to provide care. As someone that does equitable systems work in the healthcare field, I am used to both professionally and personally dealing with providers that may condescend or belittle. In no way was this my experience with Dr. Shastryâ€”she was a breath of fresh air and I am happy to have a new derm!
