Dr Hoel ticks all the important boxes! He explained the current state of [ ]'s aneurysm, spending as much time as we wanted to ask questions, and said clearly what he recommended and why. But more than just facts, he shows compassion and down-to-earth friendliness. Every aspect of our experience with him and his team has made us confident that we have the best care possible. We only with there was a number higher than 10 that we could give him!

Dr. Hoel is a patient man and wonderful as my doctor! He helped me by treating my aneurysm problems with great care, detailed pre-operation discussions and careful demonstration of my post-operation progress reports. I feel he's the best around and I don't mind traveling to get his expertise and his general care for people. I feel he is a excellent representation of Northwestern Medicine and he addressed all of my concerns and can answer anything I have questions about. I'm kinda bummed in a way I won't talk to him for a year when I have a recheck for a current condition. Very grateful to have found him. He's what I like in a Healthcare professional

I believe we answered in detail previously but dr hoel is excellent. We were impressed with so many aspects of our meeting with him. He began with friendly questions to determine how well we understood the problem then proceeded to explain many aspects of the path going forward. He showed us the CT scan and went over it in detail. That was very helpful and no one had done that. He answered our many questions patiently and in a caring manner. He never rushed us; we were probably with him 30 minutes or more. We left our meeting feeling confident in the care he and the team will give us. Heâ€™s the best!
