I’m upset about the lack of communication from Dr Halverson. I had an MRI on Thursday and do not know my plan of care because she is on vacation until Monday and didn’t make plans to get my MRI results before she left or have someone else review and talk with me. I understand people have days off. I just would expect planning ahead of time so that I am not waiting an extra 4 days to know if I need surgery again. I realize this may not be an emergency but my life has been on hold for over 8 months dealing with this and the delay impacts my life greatly.

Only thing the Dr needs to know all patients are different from each other. I'm me and they're them. If I tell you I'm hurting, I'm hurting. I don't like for people to make me feel like I'm lying just to get medicine.

The doctor is okay. Not the friendliest out of all the doctors I’ve met with at Northwestern. Additionally, I needed to make a follow-up appointment but the nurse was with another patient. I was told she would call me to make the appointment. I waited over a week and received no call. I called and left a message. I was told I would be called within two business days and still have not received a call.

The practice seems very efficient and a knowledgeable staff. When I booked my appointment originally, it was a 6 month wait and I had to reschedule which then added an additional 6 months. I really wanted to see someone immediately but no one seemed to be able to refer me to anyone sooner than that.
