My first appointment with MD Lenkart was great, fast and easy. My last two were just a waste of time. I showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early today. I was taken to my back room in a very reasonable time, maybe 5 minutes after my son and I made it. Yet, I waited over an hour in my room and no one ever came in, besides the nurse who walked me to my room, made notes of my concerns and took my blood pressure. My concern is an emergency to me, even if it isnâ€™t to anyone else. When I was exactly 14 minutes late to my last appointment I was told I could not be seen even though there is a 15 minute grace period and I had to reschedule, which was fine and I did because I cut close to the 15. I guess it is acceptable to wait over an hour after being taken to the back room with no one checking in to say the doctor would be in shortly, let alone a doctor to see. But I could hear doctor and a elderly male patient have a conversation for over about 45 minutes, in what sounded like the next room due to how clearly they could be heard, laughing and having a long conversation (nothing about health issues) as if that was the last patient to be seen around 3-4pm. I left without seeing anyone because I had to pick my daughter up from school. So here it is, going on a month with my issue and I have to turn around and find another PCP to check my breast for major issues. I am extremely hurt and disappointed with the way my appointment went.
