4.0 star star star star star_borderDr Sawant is nice. I don't really know her enough to give her a high review... Like I said above, I don't usually care about people making judgments on my body because I am very overweight. But my high weight is due to depression over the years, because of bad reactions with birth control pills. And I felt like I was judged for being pregnant at my size.

5.0 star star star star starListened to my concerns. I had never gone through a cesarean before so questions about symptoms / healing were discussed and she not only listened but she heard me, and addressed everything without hesitation. It was our first time meeting this specific Doctor but she treated me like she had been seeing me my entire pregnancy. I’ve never met a Doctor through NW I didn’t like.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderPhysician was not friendly at all and kept mentioning my weight gain during my pregnancy and mentioned that I didn’t want to be one of those pregnant women who gain 60-70lbs because it’s hard to lose and while she doesn’t recommend I go on a diet since she couldn’t say that but that I should be watching what I eat which to me means she wants me to be on a diet. Did not appreciate this physicians bedside manner and will not be scheduling any future appointments with her.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
