My initial appointment in person was cancelled due to a personal issue from the doctor. The appointment was then scheduled for 5pm the same day but as a telehealth visit. I spoke with the doctor for 15 minutes, however I did not feel as if the doctor knew my file well nor did the doctor have the chance to review my physical appearance. Examination was done via video conference but i’m not sure what the level of detail was able to be determined. The doctor asked for me to return in 3 months which is not something that has occurred since my initial diagnosis 6 years ago. Overall I was less than pleased with the experience of this appointment.

It's difficult to get responses over messaging, but despite the bad news, I'm happy to--after going on four years, finally have a diagnosis to work with and a treatment to try. That means the world to me after, one by one, all of my previous doctors gave up.
