3.0 star star star star_border star_borderHave always had great experiences with Dr. Schulman until today. He made me feel stupid as a parent and made me feel dumb for being my child in for appointment. He did not listen to my concerns around my daughters health and didn’t seem to take the appointment seriously. He did not speak or examine my child when we were there. The appointment felt like a waste of time when I was told by the office to come in for the appointment.

He never pushes anything that he doesn’t believe is absolutely necessary which is why I trust him so much. I feel like he truly cares for all of my children. He is a great dr

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI was recommended to see him by my sister-in-law who loves him for her kids. Unfortunately, for us, his approach to care will not work with our family. I understand the central scheduling office scheduled my son's appointment incorrectly, but I still did not like this doctor's dismissiveness of my sons' diagnosed condition. He refused to read or even look at the neuropsychologist's report from his testing, and instead told my son that 'those tests just mean someone was looking for a diagnosis in order to bill my insurance.' That may be true in some cases, but you don't need to tell that to a child, let alone completely try to undermine the efforts of other professionals. Also, how could you assume that without even looking at the testing report? I shouldn't have even stayed for the remainder of the appointment. He handed me back the paperwork at the end and said I could keep it since he won't look at it. I left it at the office since I have copies, but I doubt that will cause even a blip on his radar. We will find another provider for our children.

I told him I made this appointment 2 months ago. He then said well, I was here. He has done this before in the past. I don't know why I keep taking my kids to see him.

5.0 star star star star starI have never experienced such care for my child than I did with Dr. Schulman. He took the time to take notes, and make my son feel listened to and important. I wish all providers were like him. He is detail oriented and truly cares about how my son felt. We weren’t rushed by any means, and he was the last patient of the day. I will continue to recommend this provider.
