I am very pleased with Dr. Tomson and his entire staff! Each one goes out of his or her way to make me comfortable and to be sure I understand what they are doing and what comes next. I find this highly unusual for a doctor's office, except at Northwestern!

Dr. Thomson is a good doc. As a patient I am a pain and I know it--I want to understand all aspects of my care, options for treatment, etc. He speaks to me at my level of understanding and explained all my options--and why he does NOT recommend some (like higher doses of my med, etc.)

Based on the test results, Dr. Thomson wasn't quite sure why my primary care doctor had referred me to him, but he thoroughly discussed the results with me and recommended a revised follow-up treatment based on our conversation. I have the utmost confidence in his expertise, and his patient care was outstanding.

Both the assistant and Dr. Thomson provided excellent care. Dr. Thomson provided excellent information about a device that was being considered for implantation. Very deep knowledge, nice to work with an expert

9-10. Dr. was very friendly, informative, good listener, not rushed, didn't interrupt, personable, calming effect; I feel like it'll be a collaborative relationship which in my experience with several MD's is quite rare but this was only one meeting & I never judge anything on just one meeting.
