5.0 star star star star starMy experience is that psychiatrists can be cold and remote. Dr. Kunstman, however, has struck me as kind and thoughtful in addition to being a highly competent doctor. I’ve only worked with her for a short while, but my experience has been entirely positive.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kunstman is very caring. I trust her completely. She has been so instrumental in my getting through a difficult time. She even helps with things unrelated to psychiatry like getting me some Medicare information to help with open enrollment and suggesting I try to get my labs done right after meeting with her rather than waiting 4 hours which is when they were scheduled. I tried, it worked, and I was able to enjoy my afternoon!!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kunstman is a caring, supportive, thoughtful, thorough doctor with excellent "bedside manners." Dr. Kunstman works hard to get to the bottom of a challenging or difficult situation and comes up with different possible solutions while remaining calm. Dr. Kunstman is non-judgmental.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
