I had an appointment in the device clinic prior to my appointment with Dr. Kim. I finished in the clinic early, and they checked with Dr. Kim to ask if she could see me early rather than waiting almost an our until my appointment time. She was very accommodating and came to see me very soon after I was finished in the device clinic. I was very appreciative of her flexibility.

Dr. Kim was very thorough and explained her course of action very clearly to my 91 year old father (the patient) and me. Extremely courteous and did not rush through the appointment.

Both Dr Kim and her fellow were great about explaining the risks and benefits of the procedure. They also took time to help alleviate my fears about the procedure and stroke risks.

Dr. Kim has been a phenomenal doctor. She explains things in an easy way to understand, using metaphors that a regular person can comprehend. She is thorough. I have never had a team of doctors that I have felt more heard or more cared for with. I have recommended Northwestern and Dr. Kim to a family friend already.

Dr. Susan Kim seems very competent and skilled but did not take the time to understand me as an individual, and how this impacts my life. no time to answer my questions at end, felt like she wanted to get on to the next patient. this was my first meeting with her and I had many questions and concerns about what this meant for my very physically active lifestyle that were not addressed or quickly dismissed. It is unacceptable that a first meeting should be so short on time, especially when it is something as serious as your heart, that a patient's serious concerns are not dealt with.

Dr. Kim has always treated me with the utmost respect, care and concern. She is able to translate her incredible medical knowledge into terms that I fully understand. I feel totally confident to be in her care and also that she not only understands my cardiac issues but can relate them to the "whole picture" of my autoimmune diseases and how they all connect. Thank you, Dr. Kim!

Quality Care which makes me feel comfortable and safe. Dr. Kim makes me feel as like she really cares although I know she must be overwhelmed with patients to some degree. she presents unprecedented professionalism that allows me to value her as my EP. She works smart, hard and vigorously to help my heart health.
