1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderGave me a paper for dermatologist referral. I called the number they told me they can have her seen as early As January 2024; or call the the nurse/Jafri back and tell them to call the wound care line BACK to tell them to give me an earlier appointment. It was the most confusing stupidest thing ever. Clearly this doctor looked very confused and did not know what it was why would he not make the effort to make sure my daughter could be seen by a dermatologist sooner than NEXT Year. I’m STILL waiting on that call to even have this appointment scheduled.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Jafri It’s very patient and answers all of our questions. He not only takes to parent but also to patient, which helps relax them. Super knowledgeable and does not hesitate to refer to a specialist when he feels the need. For the safety and health of his patients.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDidn't ensure we received the results that day from the rapid test. I would have just taken my child to Physicians Immediate care instead of I knew we wouldn't receive results.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDeficiency in his diagnoses, it always seems that he is in a hurry, he should take the necessary time in his consultations, I definitely do not recommend it and I say this after several opportunities

5.0 star star star star starDr. Jafri is able to treat children of all ages. I current have a 2 week old, An almost 1 year old, and a 4 year old. A few months back I took my oldest to immediate care for a nose bleed and a rash on his hand, the doctor at the immediate care prescribed medication that did not successfully treat the rash and allowed it to spread However Dr. Jafri was able to prescribe medication that has improved the rash within only days. I am extremely happy with the progress so far.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderI think his input on a skin condition was actually very helpful and better advice than I have ever gotten in the past. However, I don't think he knows how to interact with kids, which seems to be a problem. I think he is Incredibly competent, but he didn't make any effort to engage the kids, it was very to business. He walked out of the room after my other child had an uncomfortable thing to deal with, and I had to call him back in to ask one of the questions about an issue she was having that needed to be addressed.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI felt rushed and I had to advocate for my son I was disappointed with the care he (the doctor) gave. Very disappointed. I had to ask for a different Provider and what was horrible was that we were establishing care and our first experience was bad.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDr. Jafri is always wonderful. He’s genuine, patient and friendly. Always willing to have discussions with parents not just tell them what to do. I appreciate he invites parents into their children’s care. Today, for example he honored my child’s concern about an exam and was very respectful. He’s also kind and answers questions from curious children.

5.0 star star star star starHe was great he had us in and out so quick and he was explaining everything before doing it and as he was doing it he’d let us know how things were going. He also answered any questions we had and communicated with us the whole time.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
