What happens during a virtual visit?

Virtual Visits Available

A virtual visit allows you to talk with an Immediate Care physician or advanced practice provider over the phone or video chat rather than having an in-person visit. Immediate Care virtual visits are available from 8am until midnight. A virtual visit might be right for you if you need care for any of the following:

  • Cough and cold symptoms
  • Allergies
  • Sore throat
  • Minor injuries and accidents
  • Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
  • Headache
  • Pink eye
  • Flu symptoms
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Sinus pain
  • Lower back pain

Virtual visits are offered for patients five years and older. Your physician or advanced practice provider may still require an in-office visit for your child if a physical evaluation is needed.
