Cardiac Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation

Cardiac Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation

Cardiac ablation has been proven to be effective therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) who continue to be highly symptomatic, despite a trial of one or more antiarrhythmic drugs. In some patients, especially young individuals with very symptomatic AF, ablation may be preferred over years of drug therapy. In this podcast, Bradley Knight, MD, will discuss cardiac ablation success rates and possible complications.
