Northwestern Medicine Opens New Downtown Clinics
Northwestern Memorial Hospital November 06, 2014
“We are excited to expand access to Northwestern Medicine care throughout Chicago,” said David M. Mahvi, MD, president of Northwestern Medical Group and Northwestern Medicine chief of gastrointestinal and oncologic surgery. “With these locations we are offering the best of both worlds for South Loop and Streeterville residents. We are expanding our primary care services into their community and bringing the Northwestern care they’ve come to trust and value close to where they work and live. And most importantly if inpatient care is ever needed, these locations will afford seamless transition into Northwestern Memorial Hospital.”
Located in the Roosevelt Collection, a mixed-use building off Roosevelt Road with residences, retail shops and a movie theater, Northwestern Medicine Delano Court is one of a network of more than 60 ambulatory locations throughout Chicago and the north and west suburbs. The broad reach of Northwestern Medicine outpatient sites offers patients an opportunity to see their primary care physician close to home or work and transfer to one of our four hospitals for follow-up or specialty care.
The Northwestern Medicine footprint has also expanded with the addition of two existing practices in downtown Chicago. Northwestern Medicine Saint Clair, formerly Northwestern Internists, is located in the Arkes Family Pavilion at 676 N. St. Clair St., Suite 415. The practice includes 10 internal medicine physicians and a 20-member support staff managing more than 29,000 patient visits per year. Northwestern Medicine Chicago Avenue, formerly Associates of Internal Medicine, is located at 211 E. Chicago Ave., Suite 1050. It includes three internal medicine physicians, two endocrinologists and a 10-member support staff managing more than 25,000 patient visits annually.
Delano Court is located in the Roosevelt Collection off of Roosevelt Road in the South Loop. The underground parking at the Roosevelt Collection is currently free and the primary care office is located in Suite A201. Flu shots for adults are also currently available at this location and no appointment is necessary.
Northwestern Medicine’s Delano Court location will be open 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.
