SurviveWell health and wellness programs are offered at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital Cancer Center, Northwestern Medicine Grayslake Cancer Center and Northwestern Medicine Glenview Cancer Center. Offerings include:

Aromatherapy

The use of essential oils to help promote wellness aromatherapy during infusion and treatment is used to enhance comfort and wellness.

Art Therapy

Many people who have been diagnosed with cancer experience some level of stress and anxiety. Engaging in artful expression can decrease distress and help patients feel calm and creative.

Dance Movement Therapy

Reconnect with your body in a gentle, fun and healing way. This program engages participants in coordinated movement to reach a feeling of peace and relaxation.

Living Beyond Cancer

More than any other time in history, cancer survivors are leading healthy and fulfilling lives due to the many advances in early detection, diagnosis and treatment.

Look Good Feel BetterĀ®

Free workshops for women to meet with beauty professionals who provide tips and tools for skin and nail care, makeup application, wig selection and much more.

Managing Stress

Having cancer can be stressful. Our dedicated social workers can help you manage stress and find resources to assist you during and beyond treatment.

Nutrition Consultation

Not sure what to eat during and after cancer treatments? Losing or gaining weight? Meet with a registered dietitian who can guide you to good eating.

Physical Therapy And Lymphedema Evaluation And Treatment

A physician's order is required for this specialized program.

Smoking Cessation

Ready to kick the smoking habit? Our nurse navigators give personalized assistance to make quitting a success.

Survive Strong Exercise Class

This program is designed for individuals diagnosed with any stage of cancer who are experiencing fatigue or weakness, or are unsure how to initiate exercise.

Therapeutic Massage

A complementary therapy that is used to help reduce some side effects of chemotherapy, radiation or drug therapy.

Yoga Therapy For Cancer Survivors

Relieve stress and promote recovery from injury and illness at your own pace.
