Northwestern Medicine offers innovative treatments and compassionate care for a wide range of neurological diseases, disorders and injuries.

What are neurosciences?

Northwestern Medicine provides treatment for a full range of neurological disorders. Neurological disorders affect the nervous system and how nerves affect learning and behavior. The clinical mission of Northwestern Medicine is to provide the highest quality care and treatment for patients with neurological disorders, while advancing new therapies and uncovering the causes and cures of neurological diseases.

Our centers have multidisciplinary teams* incorporating the services of psychologists, physical, occupational and speech therapists, as well as social workers. The complexity of the nervous system means that it is involved in hundreds of disorders, some of which resemble other conditions and overlap different areas of medicine. Northwestern Medicine neurology specialists* offer advanced care for a full range of acute and chronic neurological disorders. The specially trained staff* offers high-tech treatment, individualized attention and compassionate care for you and your family.
