5.0 star star star star starLauren gives great dietary advice and truly shows that she cares about me as a patient, and as a person. She cares about my health concerns and does a great job in helping me with my nutrition to feel as good as possible. She is friendly, but also professional. She makes me feel comfortable to ask any questions I have. She prepared me very well on what to expect, and what to eat, after my surgery to heal.

5.0 star star star star starLauren has been critical to my healing. She told when I started chemo that I needed 90 gms of protein/ day. what would i have done without that information????? I likely would have lost more mass than I did. i am so glad I saw her at the beginning of treatment. This should NOT be optional!

5.0 star star star star starLauren has been for 6 months and 12 visits the most wonderful help and motivator with patience, respect, caring, understanding, and flexibility!!!!!! I was a challenge because I have my favorite foods, like sushi, and do not do well with orders. I have been “diagnosed†with stubbornness. While Lauren expressed her professional positions, she did it with respect and caring. I respected her and her “suggestions†and she knew that. I really tried to and did follow many of her positions in many respects, so, she really did alter many of my habits through her understated presentations. I cannot say enough positives about Lauren, the ultimate professional who reads people and is flexible and respectful while, at least with me, moving me gently to better choices in my diet. Many thanks to Lauren.

5.0 star star star star starAbove. Lauren guides, suggests, explains. She does not order or dictate or criticize. All of that works with me and I think most people. She is not looking to kill my habits of many decades in one unilateral technical speech , but instead explain pros and cons and needs in a bilateral and respectful conversation. A very special professional.

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
