5.0 star star star star starDr Munro herself is hands down the best doctor I have ever had. She is kind, warm, personable, and most importantly not so full of herself or her position that she ever talks down to someone or interrupts. She’s amazing. NW Medicine does NOT get to steal her credit. She is not great because of NW Medicine, she was great long before they ever acquired her practice.

5.0 star star star star starShe is easy to talk to I can tell her everything…she doesn’t sugar coat but in such a great way. She’s on top of everything…med refills, paperwork etc. she knows, remembers everything about me since I started seeing her 7 years ago. She’s so friendly…she’s funny and talkative, she has patience. A really big thing for me about her is she will always work with you and figure something out. For example : Pap smears trigger my PTSD and very traumatic for me…she figured out how to be able to do one in the most non invasive way which is 100% less scary and way more comfortable for me to where I can relax and not take 30 min to do so… When she retires I’ll be devastated I’ve never had a better doc than Dr. Munro and I hope she gets to see these comments

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderVery unhappy with the recommendation received by the doctor. Extremely quick to prescribe antibiotics for a 17 month old (for something as minor as an ingrown toenail) without asking hardly any questions regarding our preferences or really obtaining any information about the patient other than “is she allergic to any medicationâ€. Asked for alternative treatment options and Dr Munro couldn’t think of any. Very little critical thinking involved and just gave an extraordinarily textbook response to our issue. Have since sought out another healthcare provider’s help and have been following their recommended treatment plan.

5.0 star star star star starDr Munro is a pleasant doctor who listens intently to her patients, better than any doctor I’ve ever seen. She is thoughtful about what her patients share, and cares about them in a maternal way.

5.0 star star star star starShe listened well and seemed to care how I was feeling and even wrote down all my symptoms like she was interested in knowing what everyone is coming in there with! I am sure they have seen it all and are so busy!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Munro is a wonderful doctor. Unlike most doctors these days, she doesn’t just stare at the computer screen typing constantly. She talks to you, listens to you and explains things. I have recommended her to everyone.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
