5.0 star star star star starI would recommend Jennifer Hwang to anyone with hearing difficulties but especially to patients who have hearing aids but are still not hearing properly. She was knowledgeable about the hearing loss I have and was able to explain what could be done to improve my hearing with my current hearing aids. I can now hear conversations in groups, can go to the theater and understand what is being said. I can hear birds singing and rain on the roof. I feel that Jennifer gave me back my life.

5.0 star star star star starShe communicates very clearly, understands my hearing concerns and explains & installs all my preferred features of my hearing aids. Also she is quite flexible in scheduling my appointments, especially since I prefer scheduling my mother-in-law’s appointments around the same time as mine.

5.0 star star star star starNice approach, very sharp and was consultative. The hearing test results surprised me as it stated my left ear hearing has improved though I miss the low frequencies as I cannot get the bass when listening to music.

5.0 star star star star starDr Hwang is extremely personable, responds quickly to inquiries, and takes the time to learn and address my concerns as well my wife's. My wife's voice falls in the range of my hearing loss and was the main reason for my coming in. Dr Hwang was happy to have her come with so we made sure I could hear her in different scenarios

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
