At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
Quick efficient contactless check in. Masks provided to all patients, to protect both patients and staff. Friendly staff.I appreciate that I am asked about my gender and sexual identities, and that I'm not asked about the first day of my last menstrual cycle when I'm coming in for something absolutely unrelated to my reproductive system. It makes for a welcoming environment and I believe sets the tone for all staff and patient interactions.
Check-in was quick and efficient. Everyone kept social distance, which was a relief. I like the fact that I received a fresh mask. Also a big fan of not having to wait for my doctor too long after the nurse did initial check of vitals.
I'll be honest, I've never had a close relationship with my primary care physician before, but seeing Dr. Carraro for the past year has been one of the best decisions I have made in my health care plan so far. She listens, communicates frequently, and has always been there when I needed her. I truly appreciate everything she has done for me.
Dr Carraro has been thoughtful, kind, and patient both times I have seen her. She listens to my concerns without seeming like she is in a rush, and then takes the time to explain her professional opinion and recommendations and answer any questions I have
I can tell she is interested in my health and medical care. She explained what the appointment would cover, and she clearly outlined the status and schedule for future vaccines and preventative procedures.
Dr. Carraro is the BEST! Very conscientious, always follows thru with my issues, is the best listener. I am super comfortable with my doctor which I feel is the #1 important relationship you can have with your Dr.
She is fairly responsive and spends the time to listen to my concerns. I'm pleased with my prescription protocol and my healthcare plan in working with her. My only reservation is that I'd be more comfortable with a male physician (since I'm male) but I couldn't find one who was accepting patients.
I mean, my only hesitation about recommending Dr. Carraro is that it will get more difficult to see her if she has more clients. I don't think I've “had a doctor” for over a decade and it now feels like I do.
I had a great experience with Dr. Carraro. She was personable, informative, and didn't make me feel rushed and ensured she answered all of my questions. It was one of the most relaxed appointments I've ever had and I look forward to continuing to have her as my internist.
Dr. Carraro took really great care of me. It was my first time with her and with NW and she made me feel at ease and made everything feel lower stakes even during the scary COVID times. She explained everything in detail ( what she was doing, what things meant, etc) and she answered all my questions and concerned with care.
Dr. Carraro is a good listener, easy to talk to and is extremely thorough. She makes sure I understand why she is making recommendations. I feel like I'm in good hands with Dr. Carraro as my physician...Today's appointment was over the phone and her fantastic bedside matter still came through! Very thankful for her.
