5.0 star star star star starClear about options, concerned about reasons for lack of improvement and suggestions for improving the self care, detailed in explanations, optimistic but realistic. Warm, genial, frank, calming, so very, very clear. Asks helpful questions, recommends alternatives, remembers my circumstances well from appointment to appointment.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kurtzer is kind and patient and clearly cares very much about my well-being, making sure I'm comfortable with the path forward, but also doing all she can to try to help me make progress, no matter what that looks like. I wish all providers at Northwestern, let alone at any other organization practiced trauma-informed care as she does, because everyone deserves it. Her approach makes healthcare accessible for me, whereas it it likely wouldn't be with any other provider.

5.0 star star star star starTraci really takes the time to explain everything in a non-stuffy way. I left the office feeling fully informed and able to make an good decision about care. When I returned for a small procedure, Traci walked me through it step by step in a calm, gentle manner. She explained aftercare very well and made sure that I had a follow-up appointment.

5.0 star star star star starShe’s kind, patient, thoughtful, and very considerate. I’m so grateful I was referred to her, and her team works well together. They have so much attention to detail to make sure I’m as comfortable as possible, even making note of small details like the supplies needed and dimming the lights to help me manage my chronic condition. I wish all providers offered the same high level of care and compassion, with the same commitment to a trauma-informed practice. No matter our experiences, everyone deserves to feel safe when trying to seek medical care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kurtzer was so kind, thoughtful, gave me a lot of information and reassurance. And that was even over a telehealth visit! And she was able to slot me in earlier than anticipated due to a cancellation- which I greatly appreciated.

5.0 star star star star starI’d highly recommend Dr. Kurtzer. She’s kind, trauma-informed, and does what she can to meet me where I am, and I’ll be forever grateful. She’s willing to take the time to really consider my questions and provide support and resources when she can, to coordinate care and also to help me feel comfortable. I know that this is something that the medical system doesn’t usually allow providers to do, but I’m so grateful she’s dedicated to find a way to do it without ever making me feel like a burden.

5.0 star star star star starOMG! The most knowledgeable human on pre,”me-no-pause” and post menopause. She spent time with explaining everything that is happening. And a thorough exam but no typical, Pap smear, no it was not. It was more about checking sensitivity and pelvic strength. Amazing! Thank you Dr. Kurtzer for imparting your wisdom. It was so nice and refreshing to be with someone that appeared to be around my same age with so much knowledge on this apparently taboo subject.
