4.0 star star star star star_borderI would hope that everyone I know stays healthy and that I would never have to recommend a visit to Dr. Yang. But my visit on the 8th was thorough and professional and most of my questions and concerns were answered. Thank you.

5.0 star star star star starFirst of all he and Dr Mahvi performed a very successful tumor debulking procedure on me in 2015. So far this has been the most successful treatment of my disease course. If I were to require further surgery I would want him for his superb skills and direct knowledge of my liver. He is a brilliant and compassionate fellow and has my complete trust!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Yang thoroughly explained the diagnosis and treatment options. He patiently discussed the current state of my health and why he decided to proceed with chemo as opposed to surgery. in addition, he ensured we were introduced to the oncologist he is suggesting for the next phase of treatment.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Yang was very personable and described his plan and reasoning very thoroughly and easily to all family members. He came into the meeting very prepared and knew the details of the case and imaging. He repeatedly offered to answer any additional questions. We walked out of the meeting feeling very reassured.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
