Dr. Martin is in my opinion an anchor . When I am experiencing fear, confusion and vulnerability regarding diagnoses and test results, I am unmoored and out of my depths. She calmly helps me find my way either through referrals, explanations and or taking time to steer me in the right direction. When you do not know your way and read so much conflicting information online it means everything to rely on a steady, informed and conscientious physician. I was referred to her by an acquaintance who said she was great. I could not agree more. I am so grateful to have her as my doctor.

Dr Martin is knowledgeable and skilled as an Hematologist. Genuinely emphatic and cares about you as a whole person. She was clear, calm, caring and very thoughtful in our discussion. She did not rush through the appointment, but actually waited for my blood results to come back to discuss the results. I know with her care we will come up with how to care for my blood disorder.

Dr. Martin saw me in a timely manner. She listened to my history, asked questions and came up with new (possible) treatment suggestions. In my experience, it is hard to find a hematologist who is interested in dealing with a long standing issue, when they have patients with far more immediate concerns. Dr. Martin took time with me and was interested in helping me find the best treatment for my issue.

She listens. Is qualified/competent with information as all NWMH staff are, but can think beyond the standard process and answers. She is more integrated and real world practical application of medicine. Not alarmist, but serious and thoughtful. Exactly what one would hope to have in a Doctor.
