Symptoms of Barrett's Esophagus

Barrett's esophagus usually has no symptoms, but patients may experience symptoms related to the gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) that causes the condition. Those symptoms include:

• Heartburn
• Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)
• Regurgitation (the return of partially digested food from the stomach to the mouth)
