This informational class provides an overview about Parkinson’s disease, including the history, causes, symptoms and treatments.
Dates: Quarterly on Wednesdays throughout the year

Parkinson’s Disease 201
This informational class discusses symptoms that come along with advancing Parkinson’s disease and corresponding treatments.

Art Therapy for Parkinson’s Disease
Use various art forms and materials to explore your feelings and strengthen the mind-body connection. Art therapy is a mental health service, provided by an art therapist who has training from the Institute for Therapy through the Arts. Space is limited, so you must register in advance.
Date: 3rd Monday of the month

The Joffrey Ballet's Dancing with Parkinson's
This dance class for people with Parkinson's disease and their care partners incorporates multiple styles of dance. Space is limited so you must register in advance.
Dates: 8-week series held at different times throughout the year

Parkinson's Players – Golf
This class offers instructional golf for people with Parkinson's disease. You do not need any golf experience, but you must be able to stand without help for an hour.
Dates: Tuesdays in May, June, July, August, and September
Time: 5:00 pm to 5:50 pm
Location: Diversey Driving Range, 141 West Diversey Parkway, Chicago

Parkinson's Players – Tennis
This class offers instructional cardio tennis for people with Parkinson's disease. You do not need any golf experience, but you must be able to stand without help for an hour.
Dates: Tuesdays in May, June, July, August and September 
Time: 6:00 pm to 6:50 pm

Parkinson's Players – Ping Pong
Please join us for an instructional Ping Pong program for people with Parkinson's Disease. You do not need Ping Pong experience. 
Dates: Saturdays in December, January, February, March and April  
Time: 11:15 am – 1:00 pm

Second City’s Improv for People with Parkinson’s Disease and their Care Partners
Learn improvisational theater exercises that can improve your emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Space is limited, so you must register in advance.
Dates: 8-week sessions offered multiple times throughout the year
